All in all, Galileo Galilei was well known for his contributions in astronomy. Also, he invented many things like a thermometer, a compass for aiming cannon balls, a telescope with 8x magnification, and a pendulum clock. He found that the moons’ surface uneven not flat. Last, Galileo was imprisoned in 1633 and died of illness in 1642.
